Bolton's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And they are all are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

M6, from 8pm September 9 to 7am September 12, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): EMBARGO - NO TOTAL CLOSURE ALLOWED ON MAINLINE, M61 southbound, (Full Length) - M60 Anticlockwise, junction 15 - five - M6 southbound, junction 30 - 20 - M62 eastbound, junction 10. 12 - due to 2 x full weekend closures over the weekend on M6 Juction 33 - 32 and M56, junction 9 to 5 and will be utilising the M61/M60 as the diversion Route.

M60, from 8pm June 28 to 6am November 23, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M61 northbound and southbound, junction 1 - nine - Lane closure for communications.

And one more closure will begin over the next seven days:

M60, from 9pm September 12 to 5am September 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M61 southbound, junction 3 to junction 1 - carriageway closure for Horticulture.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
