A Bolton restaurant has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Medirest Healthcare Compass Group at Beaumont Hospital, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Old Hall Clough, Lostock, Bolton was given the score after assessment on February 8, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Bolton's 430 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 242 (56%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
