A Bolton restaurant has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Smithills Open Farm Cafe, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Smithills Dean Road, Bolton was given the score after assessment on September 26, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Bolton's 438 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 243 (55%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
