A Bolton restaurant has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Westhoughton Golf Club, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Long Island Off School Street, Westhoughton, Bolton was given the score after assessment on April 19, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Bolton's 431 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 242 (56%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
