You, Me And The Balloons: First look at Yayoi Kusama's interactive exhibition as it arrives in Manchester

The psychedelic art installation is in the city until the end of August

Yayoi Kusama's exhibition 'You, Me And The Balloons', has opened at Manchester's Factory International at the newly named Aviva Studios - and brings with it a huge array of playful and interactive spotted balloons.

The immersive event celebrates three decades of the pioneering Japanese artist's inflatable artworks, which are brought together for the first time in this major exhibition.

Visitors will be able to journey through Kusama's psychedelic creations - many over 10m tall - including giant dolls, spectacular tendrilled landscapes and a vast constellation of polka-dot spheres.

The exhibition, which opened on June 30, is set to run until August 28, 2023 - full details on the event and how to book can be found at the Factory International website.
