Having welcomed over eight million visitors in cities around the world, the multi-sensory immersive ‘Van Gogh Alive’ experience has wowed visitors in MediaCity.

Created by Grande Experiences, the immersive Van Gogh Alive exhibition takes visitors on a trip through the periods of Van Gogh’s life that defined him as an artist, during the period 1880 to 1890, showcases over 3,000 images.

There are images projected onto the walls, moving artworks set to a musical score and an Insta-worthy 3D sunflower room bringing to life Van Gogh’s famous flowers.

You can also get involved in making your own artwork in an interactive area with video tutorials, or create souvenirs in a life-sized, walk-in representation of Van Gogh’s ‘Bedroom in Arles’ painting.

How do I get tickets?

Van Gogh Alive is open to the public til 27 February 2022 after its original run was extended by several weeks.

Tickets cost £23.50 for adults, £21.50 for concessions (students, pensioners and disabled visitors), £16.50 for kids aged 5-16 and free for under-fives.
