Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl is set for another stand out ‘Sounds of the Summer’ series. One of the more recent announcements to headline the Bowl is Irish indie rock band Two Door Cinema Club.

The band are due to play at Castlefield Bowl on Sunday July 9. Their support act shared the news of the performance on social media earlier this week.

The Royston Club will be opening for Two Door Cinema Club. Posting on their official Twitter page, they wrote: “Gunna be opening for @TDCinemaClub at Castlefield Bowl this summer! Is gunna be some night so see you down the front x.”

Also joining Two Door Cinema Club at Castlefield Bowl is Sundara Karma. The Reading rock band will perform second during what is sure to be a great night of music.

The three bands join a host of top talent playing at the Castlefield Bowl. Also performing on other days during the summer are Blossoms, The Lathums and Bastille.

Two Door Cinema Club have been an almost ever present on the indie music scene for over a decade. Their upbeat sound and catchy tunes have rewarded them with sold out shows and festival performances across the world.

They will bring their extensive back catalogue to Manchester for a Sunday night of fun. Some of their more well known songs include ‘I Can Talk’ and ‘What You Know’.

How to get tickets to Two Door Cinema Club at Castlefield Bowl

Tickets are on general sale at 9.30am on Friday February 3. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster.
