Heaton Park is hosting the gruelling obstacle course event Tough Mudder again on 22-23 October.
Brave participants can enter as individuals or groups and choose between the classic 5k course, which has 13 obstacles or the new 10k course, which has 20.

Other challenges include climbing over walls, monkey bars, a smoke chamber and the gauntlet run.
For the first time ever, there will also be water obstacles for contestants to try.
Children are welcome to give it a go as well with the one-mile Lidl Mudder Adventure.
