Thousands of people tested their strength and stamina in the gruelling obstacle course event Tough Mudder, which returned to Manchester’s Heaton Park last weekend.
The 2022 event was especially popular with extra starting waves added to accommodate the 8,000 participants.
Runners faced either the 10k course or the children’s course. Both involved a series of obstacles designed to challenge physical and mental strength.
Tough Mudder will return to Heaton Park on 15-16 July 2023 and registration is already open.
For now, the early bird entry fee for the 5k and 10k races are £69, and £10 for the children’s Lidl Mudder challenge. Prices are set to increase on October 31, so keep checking the Tough Mudder website for more details.
