Manchester Pride Festival

It’s August Bank Holiday weekend, which can only mean one thing – Manchester Pride Festival.
Manchester will be celebrating its LGBTQ community and queer culture in a variety of events throughout weekend, including the Gay Village Party and, of course, the Parade.
It is also an important opportunity to raise awareness of LGBTQ issues. Activists and speakers will be holding talks at the Human Rights Forum and the festival will culminate with a candlelit vigil in remembrance of the lives lost to HIV/AIDS.
