Starbucks team up with Manchester artist to create unique reusable cups for Valentine’s Day

One branch of Starbucks in Manchester is set to share the love this Valentine’s Day with a special opportunity for a limited number of customers. The first 100 coffee aficionados to visit the cafe on Oxford Road will be given a unique feature on one of Starbucks reusable cups.

As part of Starbucks events for Valentine’s Day, these customers will receive a bespoke illustration on their takeaway cup. The cups will be decorated by an in-house artist at the cafe who has created a unique design.

The special event will take place at the cafe on Saturday February 11. From 9am onwards, customers will have the chance to grab the unique cup.

The Manchester cafe is one of three Starbucks across the country taking part in the special Valentine’s Day event. The in-house artist in Manchester will be Pypah Santos.

If you can’t get to the cafe for the in-house event, then don’t worry- you can still share the love with your own Valentine. On the day itself, Starbucks baristas will be writing surprise messages on Starbucks® Delivers drinks orders nationwide.

Customers ordering any Starbucks drink from Starbucks Delivers via Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats could receive a handwritten note on their cup – whether you’re hoping to make a ‘matcha’ with a crush, celebrate a best friend, or show some self-love, keep an eye out for a meaningful message making its way to you.

Here’s how you can send your Valentine a special Starbucks delivery:

1. Search their location on Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats, and see if Starbucks® Delivers is available near them.  
2. Pick out a treat for them from the Starbucks menu. Why not try the new Chocolatey Pretzel Frappuccino Blended Beverage or the Salted Pretzel Hot Chocolate?
3. Your Valentine could spot a surprise handwritten note on their cup from the baristas, delivered straight to their door.
