In the United States, 2021 was the best year for vinyl sales since records began in 1991, and according to Billboard, one out of every three albums sold last year were vinyl records.

And the same pattern presented itself in the UK, with vinyl sales reaching record highs in 2021, with five million being sold nationwide according to the British Phonographic Industry, the highest since 1990.
