Noel Gallagher Manchester presale & tickets: High Flying Birds to play Wythenshawe Park

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds are coming back to Manchester with an enormous outdoor gig announced.

The band, fronted by the Oasis icon, will be at Wythenshawe Park this summer for the outdoor mega show - their first headline gig in their home city since 2019. And it’s the first time Wythenshawe Park will host a major outdoor summer concert too. The announcement comes shortly after the release of the band’s new single, Pretty Boy, which was receently named BBC Radio 2’s Record of the Week.

Support will come from indie legends, Primal Scream, who played Castlefield Bowl at Sounds of the City this summer, and Future Islands. Noel and the High Flying Birds also played at Delamere Forest in Cheshire this summer and played a charity gala gig in Manchester this year, but this is their first major local gig in three years.

When is the Noel Gallagher Manchester gig, how do I get pre-sale tickets and how much are tickets?

The Wythenshawe gig is on Saturday 26th August 2023, just ahead of the August bank holiday long weekend.

Pre-sale tickets will go on sale today (Thursday 1 December) from noon and ends at 9am on Friday 2 December from Ticketmaster and also Live Nation. Fans signed up to Noel’s mailing list have been sent a presale link allowing them access to these early tickets,

General sale tickets will then go live on Friday 2 December from 10am. You can buy them from Ticketmaster here. Ticket prices have yet to be confirmed but the gig is expected to be all standing. There is a maximum of eight tickets per person and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

The band is also playing Audley End in Essex on Saturday 5 August and previously announced two London dates at Southbank on 2 December 2022 and Crystal Palace Bowl on 28 July 2023.
