A new exhibition is showcasing artwork used in iconic animations such as Postman Pat, The BFG and Wind in the Willows.

A new exhibition featuring works from well-known animations such as Postman Pat and the BFG has arrived in Greater Manchester.

Scene on Screen at Sale Waterside includes stop-motion sculptures and original designs and drawings from the Cosgrove Hall films archive.

The animation studio had its headquarters in Chorlton, and for 30 years the company created many recognisable works which are still seen today in over 80 countries.

The exhibition in Sale is a unique opportunity for visitors to catch a glimpse of some of the original hand-drawn artwork from favourites such as Wind in the Willows and Andy Pandy, and see a real set which was used in Postman Pat.
