National Cinema Day 2023: Where to watch films including Oppenheimer for as little as £3 in Manchester

National Cinema Day 2023 is coming up, and moviegoers in Greater Manchester will be on the look-out for cheap tickets. The day will see cinema chains selling tickets for as little as £3. 

Many of the summer’s blockbuster hits can be viewed through the offer. This includes Barbie and Oppenheimer, films which have been the talk of the town in recent weeks.

Other action-packed flicks include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, The Meg 2: The Trench and The Equalizer 3.  Plenty of cinemas around the region are giving film fans the chance to purchase discount tickets for National Cinema Day, which is on Saturday September 2. 

 Cineworld

All of the Greater Manchester branches of Cineworld will be taking part in the National Cinema Day event. Tickets will be available for £3 and some of the films you can take in include Barbie, Oppenheimer and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. 

Cineworld also has a snack offer in place for National Cinema Day. You’ll be able to get a regular popcorn and a regular soft drink for just £4 - and you can upgrade to large for just £1 extra. Cineworld locations in Greater Manchester are listed below:

Vue

Both of the Manchester branches of Vue will be taking part in National Cinema Day, with IMAX screenings at Manchester Printworks also included in the offer. As well as Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, fans will also be able to take in other big hits including superhero films ‘Blue Beetle’ and Spider-man: Across the Spider-Verse.

The branches of Odeon in Manchester have cheap tickets available to purchase online for National Cinema Day 2023. In addition to big hits which have already hit the silver screen this summer, you’ll also get the chance to watch Japan's smash-hit basketball anime The First Slam Dunk on the big screen.
