A light display with a difference is to visit the streets of Eccles at the end of the month. The Mystery Bird art installation will travel along 50 residential roads in the Salford town on January 23 to 27 from 5pm to 7.30pm each evening, including a visit to the town centre and St Mary’s Church.
Streets will be illuminated by the bright, colourful light exhibition surrounding a beautiful bird cage as enticing projections of the captured birds escaping are scattered across homes and buildings. A rousing soundscape will accompany the display, adding a dash of surrealism to the town’s magical attempt at celebrating the beginning of an ambitious regeneration project throughout Eccles.
