Muse ‘Will Of The People’ Tour coming to Manchester’s AO Arena- support act, ticket details and possible setlist

Rock music icons Muse are bringing their ‘Will of the People’ tour to Manchester later this month. The tour is to mark their ninth studio album, and the AO Arena will make a fitting venue for the band. 

Muse’s ‘Will Of The People’ album went straight to number one in the UK album charts following its release earlier this year. This was the band’s seventh consecutive studio album to top the charts, a record which started way back in 2003 with ‘Absolution’.  ‘Will Of the People’ sold over 50,000 copies in the first week after its release. 

The band will be bringing their huge catalogue of classic tunes to the AO Arena on September 29. This is the second of four arena shows Muse will perform in the UK and Ireland this autumn. 

Since forming back in 1994, Matt Bellamy, Dominic Howard and Chris Wolstenholme who form Muse have released nine studio albums, selling over 30 million units worldwide. Prior to ‘Will of the People’ their previous album, ‘Simulation Theory’, debuted at #1 in multiple territories and followed by their 2015 album, ‘Drones’, which went on tofirst look inside Salford’s tallest student accommodation building win a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album, the band’s second.

Tickets for Muse at the AO Arena have sold fast, but there are still some seating options available through Ticketmaster. These start off at £94.30 and some tickets are available through Ticketmaster’s official resale network. 

Who is supporting Muse at the AO Arena?

For all four of the UK and Ireland dates this autumn, rock duo Nova Twins will support Muse. Amy Love and Georgia South formed the band in 2014 and they released their most recent album, Supernova, last year.
