Meat-free food brand Beyond Meat is giving away free burgers in Manchester. The promotion is to celebrate Veganuary, which takes place throughout January.

The free food giveaway takes place this Friday (January 26) at St Anne’s in the city centre. The tour is fronted by plant-based Tik-Toker Luke Vernon who will be helping to give away the burgers.

The give-away will be between 11am and 6pm, with Luke on hand from 12pm to 3pm. This is part of a food truck tour which will also stop in Bristol, Birmingham, Oxford, and London.

The Friday giveaway from Beyond Meat follows the recent launch of their new playful marketing campaign, ‘Taste You Can Believe In’, that they say pokes fun at classic Veganuary misconceptions and promotes Beyond Meat range as being truly delicious.

Beyond Meat UK Brand Manager Ellie Stevens said: “With the ‘Taste You Can Believe In’ campaign, we are looking to educate consumers on the benefits of our products in a light-hearted, approachable but informative way. January is a key time for assessing our meat consumption, and we wanted to emphasise how our tasty Beyond Meat products allow everyone to continue eating what they love, but do so in a way that’s better for the planet - no sacrifice required.”
