Manchester Marathon 2024: final entries for event to be released soon as general entries sold out in 24 hours

The final spots in this year’s adidas Manchester Marathon are set to be announced. The last places will be confirmed later this month.

Hide AdRace organisers have said that those few given one of the remaining opportunities to take part in the marathon will hear about it on Monday January 8. If you have previously registered interest through the race website, you will receive a sign-up link via either email or SMS text message. For further details on how you will find out if you have a place, and details of how you can confirm your place, visit the marathon’s website.
The 2024 marathon takes place on Sunday April 14. In total, around 30,000 people will take part and around 125,000 spectators will line the route to cheer runners on.
Chief Executive of adidas Manchester Marathon event organiser, Human Race, Andrew Smith, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming this year’s participants, from elite runners to those who never dreamed of taking part in a marathon before now.
