Manchester Marathon 2023: When is it and can I still enter? Full list of entry types and prices for runners

The Manchester Marathon is almost here , and thousands of participants will be finishing off their training routines. However, despite it being just days away, there’s still the opportunity to sign up.

The big day is Sunday, April 16. The streets of Manchester will be turned into a haven for runners, with roads closed to traffic for much of the day.

If you’ve had a last minute change of heart, or you feel like you’re up to the task of conquering the streets of Manchester, there is good news.

Entry is still open and various packages are available. Below we have collected together all you need to know about how you can still enter to participate - you can visit the official Manchester marathon website to sign up.  

Individual Entry

• General entry costs £75
• You’ll get a personalised running bib posted in advance (UK residents only)
• Predicted location tracking on event day
• Your awesome finish line rewards

Individual Entry and Best Sellers Package

This entry has all of the factors of the individual entry plus the below:

• General entry costs £99
• 2023 Training T-Shirt (for the avoidance of doubt these are not adidas t-shirts, but are great quality, and will sport the adidas Manchester Marathon logo as part of the design)
• Personalised medal insert (iTab) including name and finish time

Two person Entry

• Entry costs £149

If you enter two people into the 2023 adidas Manchester Marathon at the same time to get a discount. You must register both of you in one go to get this offer. Simply choose Individual Entry, add your friend onto the entry form and the discount will be automatically applied.

Duo entry

• Entry costs £109

Entry into both the 2023 Manchester Half (October 15) & 2023 adidas Manchester Marathon. Buy together and get a discount. Marathon organisers say that this is not a two person entry- you can see above for information on this.

Two person relay

• Entry costs £89

Fancy tag teaming the marathon route with a partner? If so, you can sign up for a two person relay where you will each cover half of the route around the city.

Four person relay

• Entry costs £99

Same concept as the above, but four people can take part in the relay. The course is broken up into roughly four legs of 10/11k.
