The much anticipated 2022 edition of the Manchester Half Marathon takes place in October, and runners will be counting down to the big day.
The half marathon is a huge event which sees thousands of people taking part on routes that take them across the city.

Here is what you need to know about when the event takes place this year, and also information on how to enter.
When is the 2022 Manchester Half Marathon?
The 2022 event is set to take place on Sunday October 9.
Can I still enter the 2022 event?
Entry to the 2022 Manchester Half Marathon is still open for individual, group and charity entries.
People aged 17 and over on the day of the Half Marathon can enter for £42.

Hide AdIf you want to run with a friend or family member, you can sign up as a Hero Duo for £71 and will save you £10.
A second version of the Hero Duo deal costs £92 and will also give you entry into the 2023 Manchester Marathon.
Enter the second person’s details in the relevant box on the registration form and the event organisers will send them a unique invite within seven days to redeem their entry to the 2022 Manchester Half Marathon.
UKA Affiliated Athletes can sign up to take part for £40 by entering their registration number.

Hide AdRepresentatives for people running for charity can enter online for free, whilst those running for ABF The Soldiers Charity can pay £10 to get signed up.

What do participants in the Manchester Half Marathon receive?
All participants in the 2022 Manchester Half Marathon will receive the following for taking part:
- Chip timing (and a text when you cross the line)
- Personalised Bib
- A medal at the finish line
