The Decibel Lounge opened as part of Manchester’s new arena earlier this year and will now be known as Hideway and be spearheaded by celebrity chef Simon Rimmer.
Simon is best known for his appearances on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch and Manchester’s own Albert’s Schloss. Last month, he announced the closure of the final branch of his Greens restaurants in Sale. He has designed a Mediterranean-themed menu for the new members-only lounge at Co-op Live.

Arena bosses say Hideaway’s interiors will include ‘cosy nooks and plush seating that invite guests to celebrate in a luxurious setting’. The space will also feature live DJs and live performances.
Only 100 memberships are available and these are the last-remaining in the arena’s premium lounges. In addition to the exclusive access to the space, members benefit from premium tickets located near the stage for all concerts and live events.
Sam Piccione III, OVG International President of Sales, said: “The redesign of Hideaway marks a significant moment in our continued journey to deliver unrivalled premium experiences at Co-op Live. With Simon Rimmer’s involvement, we are taking things to the next level – creating a destination designed for music lovers, combining great music with outstanding food, cocktails and Champagne, in a stylish party atmosphere that makes experiencing live music at Co-op Live unforgettable.”
