Take a look inside the cat answer to Crufts - a huge event featuring some of the "most beautiful cats in the world". Felines - both pedigree and non-pedigree - are strutting their stuff on an actual catwalk as they compete for various awards this weekend.
The Manchester CATstravaganza has been running on Saturday and Sunday at the Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Trafford Park. It is hosted by Loving Cats Worldwide, who say they want to shine a spotlight on cats while also raising awareness about the pressing rescue situation. Those attending have been able to chat with renowned cat breeders, learn fascinating facts about felines, and even meet the beautiful competing animals.
The organisation, which describes itself as "a crazy bunch of cat-crazed individuals doing our part to increase the visibility of all cats", says it is committed to supporting felines in need and promoting ethical breeding practices.
