The presale window for Liam Gallagher at Manchester’s Co-op Live tickets opened today, with thousands of fans hoping to get their hands on one. There was understandably huge demand, so much so that the window was closed less than 20 minutes after opening.

Liam Gallagher has announced three dates at Manchester’s new music venue. The dates are all in June 2024 and are part of his ‘Definitely Maybe’ tour.

The presale window opened at 9am today (October 18) for all of Gallagher’s UK tour dates, including the three in Manchester. This window was open to Co-op Members who were added to a virtual queue. However, less than 20 minutes after the window opened it was shut.

Co-op Live posted on social media to let fans know about the sellout of presale tickets. They said: “Demand for Liam Gallagher has been exceptionally high, and Co-op Member presale tickets are no longer available. General sale opens at 9am on Friday, when more tickets will be made available.”

Fans then took to social media to say that tickets had appeared on the ticketing website Viagogo, at vastly inflated prices. One ticket for the opening Manchester show is listed as being up for sale for £1,179.

Other tickets are listed for over £700, with multiple on sale for over £500. 34 standing tickets are on the website for this first show, none of which are cheaper than £268.

For the second date on June 16, two tickets are on the website for £1,179 and £1,180. Like with the first date, no tickets are available for less than around £250.

The next opportunity to get tickets through Co-op Live’s website will be from 9am on Friday October 20. Through the site, you’ll be redirected to Ticketmaster and once again you will be placed in a virtual queue.
