KISS are known for their outlandish live performances. Over the years, the band’s members have breathed fire and spat out ‘blood’ in displays which have been almost as memorable as their outlandish make-up.

The show in Manchester will not just be their final show in the city, it will also be one of the band's last ever in the UK. The gig could have all the hallmarks of a classic rock show.

Upon announcing the farewell concerts, KISS said in a statement: “All that we have built and all that we have conquered over the past four decades could never have happened without the millions of people worldwide who’ve filled clubs, arenas and stadiums over those years.

“This will be the ultimate celebration for those who’ve seen us and a last chance for those who haven’t. KISS Army, we’re saying goodbye on our final tour with our biggest show yet and we’ll go out the same way we came in… Unapologetic and Unstoppable.”

The first show of the UK tour at Plymouth Argyle’s Home Park stadium was cancelled. This was reportedly due to logistical issues amongst other problems.

Since then, however, the shows have been a success. KISS have played in Birmingham and Newcastle. As well as the Manchester show, the band from New York are set to perform in London and Glasgow.

Ahead of KISS’ last ever show in Manchester, we’ve taken a look back at the last time they played in Manchester. As it turns out, the farewell tour has been going on for several years now.

In fact, when they last played in Manchester back in 2019, this was also on the ‘End of The Road Tour’. However, the upcoming show will certainly be heir last show in the city.
