World renowned stand up comedian and actor Kevin Hart is bringing his ‘Reality Check’ comedy show to Manchester’s AO Arena this week. Star of ‘Ride Along’ and ‘Jumanji’ Hart has sold out venues around the world.

The show in Manchester takes place on Tuesday April 25. Ahead of the show, we’ve rounded up all the information you need to know.

According to information provided by the AO Arena, doors for Kevin Hart’s show open at 6pm. The performance is set to begin at 8pm.

Are phones allowed at Kevin Hart’s AO Arena gig?

Kevin Hart is partnering with Yondr to make this a phone-free show, as are all shows on his ‘Reality Check’ tour. By limiting access to mobile phones and devices, the artist and audience can enjoy the show in the moment without distraction.

The use of mobiles phones, tablets, smart watches, cameras and recording devices are not permitted at this event, so the AO Arena advises leaving them at home where possible.

If you are planning on getting to AO Arena by car, CitiPark provides an on-site car park with 958 spaces. During the event, the car park is manned by the events team ensuring parking goes smoothly throughout the night.

If you don’t want to drive in the city centre, there are several Park and Ride facilities that will take you to the arena. The following Park and Ride facilities are free to use with a valid Metrolink ticket and will take you to AO Arena:

  • West of Manchester, Ladywell, 250 spaces (Pilgrims Way, Salford, M50 1AW) – 25-minute journey to city centre
  • South of Manchester, Hollinwood, 202 spaces (Hudson Street, Failsworth, OL9 7LG) – 20-minute journey time to city centre
  • East of Manchester, Ashton Moss, 200 spaces (Alexandria Drive, Ashton, OL6 7UB) – 30-minute journey time to city centre
  • South of Manchester, Sale Water Park, 316 spaces (Rifle Road, Sale, M33 2LX) – 25-minute journey time to city centre

Where can I eat near Manchester AO Arena?

With AO Arena located in central Manchester at Victoria Station, finding somewhere to eat is easy. With plenty of restaurants and bars around, you can find tips on where to get your pre-show meal here.

The following items are prohibited at AO Arena:

  • Glass, cans, aluminium bottles or thermoses of any kind including liquid products which can be consumed.
  • Flammable liquids in any container
  • Laser pens/pointers
  • Video cameras, recording devices and professional cameras

  • Knives or weapons of any kind

  • Signs, banners or flags on poles, staffs or selfie sticks
  • Animals (except ADUK registered service dogs)

  • Projectiles (frisbees, beach balls, footballs etc)
