Rock band Keane have announced some special events for their 20th anniversary, including a UK tour with a date at Manchester’s new Co-op Live. The anniversary will also be marked with the remastered release of the band’s debut album ‘Hopes and Fears’.
The gig announcement is the next chapter of Co-op Live’s opening season line-up. The new arena is set to open in April 2024 with Eric Clapton and The Jonas Brothers previously announced.

‘Hopes and Fears’ is 9x platinum in the UK, a remarkable achievement and the album has sold over 10 million copies worldwide. The Sherlocks and The Lathums will support Keane on the UK and Ireland tour, with The Lathums supporting in Manchester.
Lead singer Tom Chaplin said: “I remember standing by that amazing old mixing desk at Heliocentric Studios where we made Hopes and Fears, listening to an early mix of Somewhere Only We Know. I had this feeling that we’d come up with something that had an extra bit of magic.
“Making music is so often a process full of doubt…but on this occasion there was something undeniable about what we’d created. Clearly a lot of people felt the same when the album came out!”
How to get tickets to see Keane at Co-op Live
Pre-sale tickets will be made available to Co-op Members from 10am on September 13. Tickets will then go to general sale at 10am on September 15.
