The carnival of Cazoo Premier League Darts rolls into Manchester this week, with eight of the world’ best players set to battle it out for all important points. The season is approaching its climax, and Manchester could see some players take a huge step towards the playoffs. 

The Manchester edition of the 2023 season takes place on Thursday May 4. Ahead of the first throw, here’s all the information you need to know. 

What time does the Cazoo Premier League Darts at AO Arena start

According to information provided by the AO Arena, doors for the darts open at 5.30pm. The first match is due to get underway at 7pm.

What are the fixtures for the Cazoo Premier League Darts in Manchester? 

The league format sees eight players take part across the night, with the first four games being quarter finals. Players on show include current World Champion Michael Smith and three time world champion Michael van Gerwen. 

Below are the fixtures which will take place at the AO Arena. Winners of these matches will go on to play a semi-final and then a final at the end of the night. The winner of the night will pick up five points.

Tickets for the darts in Manchester are still available through Ticketmaster. They are on sale for prices starting at around £30.

If you are planning on getting to AO Arena by car, CitiPark provides an on-site car park with 958 spaces. During the event, the car park is manned by the events team ensuring parking goes smoothly throughout the night.

If you don’t want to drive in the city centre, there are several Park and Ride facilities that will take you to the arena. The following Park and Ride facilities are free to use with a valid Metrolink ticket and will take you to AO Arena:

  • West of Manchester, Ladywell, 250 spaces (Pilgrims Way, Salford, M50 1AW) – 25-minute journey to city centre

  • South of Manchester, Hollinwood, 202 spaces (Hudson Street, Failsworth, OL9 7LG) – 20-minute journey time to city centre

  • East of Manchester, Ashton Moss, 200 spaces (Alexandria Drive, Ashton, OL6 7UB) – 30-minute journey time to city centre

  • South of Manchester, Sale Water Park, 316 spaces (Rifle Road, Sale, M33 2LX) – 25-minute journey time to city centre

With AO Arena located in central Manchester at Victoria Station, finding somewhere to eat is easy. With plenty of restaurants and bars around, you can find tips on where to get your pre-show meal here.
