There are seven dinosaurs in total to find at the shopping centre, including favourites like Velociraptor, Stegosaurus and Diplodocus. The highlight, of course, is the T-Rex, which stands at an impressive three metres tall.

If you want to try and find all the dinosaurs, maps are available at the customer service desk.

Centre manager Angela Tierney said: “The dinos are fantastic and they’ll provide a great way to entertain children during the six-week holiday. Dust off your safari hat and magnifying glass and come along - we’ll see you there!”

Mill Gate Shopping Centre opens from 9am to 5.30pm every day apart from Sunday, when it is open 10.30am-4.30pm.

These dinosaurs are not the only prehistoric creatures that will be in Bury this month. A new immersive experience Dinosaurs in the Park has been set up at Heaton Park, which involves life-size animatronics, a fun fair and visits from a real-life palaeontologist from the University of Manchester.

More information about Dinosaurs in the park, including how to book ticket can be found on the event’s website.
