Everything you need to know ahead of Iron Maiden’s concert at AO Arena in Manchester including set list and door times

Iron Maiden will bring their ‘The Future Past’ tour to Manchester’s AO Arena soon. The show, which will take place on June 30, will feature previously unperformed songs from the band’s most recent studio album, Senjutsu along with a focus on 1986’s iconic Somewhere In Time record, plus other classic cuts.

The heavy metal band recently wrapped up their Legacy Of The Beast World Tour, which was interrupted for two years by the pandemic,  with many shows rescheduled twice. Iron Maiden’s current band members include bassist Steve Harris, guitarist Dave Murray, guitarist Adrian Smith, vocalist Bruce Dickinson, drummer Nicko McBrain and guitarist Janick Gers.

According to AO Arena, doors will open to the event at 6pm, with the event starting at 7.30pm. It is recommended to come to the arena early to ensure you don’t miss out on the show.

Iron Maiden will be joined by Lord of the Lost at their Manchester gig. Lord of the Lost are a German rock band from Hamburg, formed by singer and frontman Chris Harms.

AO Arena parking

If you are planning on getting to AO Arena by car, CitiPark provides an on-site car park with 958 spaces. During the event, the car park is manned by the events team ensuring parking goes smoothly throughout the night.

If you don’t want to drive in the city centre, there are several Park and Ride facilities that will take you to the arena. The following Park and Ride facilities are free to use with a valid Metrolink ticket and will take you to AO Arena:

  • West of Manchester, Ladywell, 250 spaces (Pilgrims Way, Salford, M50 1AW) – 25-minute journey to city centre
  • South of Manchester, Hollinwood, 202 spaces (Hudson Street, Failsworth, OL9 7LG) – 20-minute journey time to city centre
  • East of Manchester, Ashton Moss, 200 spaces (Alexandria Drive, Ashton, OL6 7UB) – 30-minute journey time to city centre
  • South of Manchester, Sale Water Park, 316 spaces (Rifle Road, Sale, M33 2LX) – 25-minute journey time to city centre
