Digital Her Role Model Meet Up

Digital Her is hosting in an event on International Women’s Day to help women in the tech industry network and learn from each other.

With talks, workshops and networking opportunities, the event aims to support Digital Her’s mission of ending inequality and increasing diversity in the technology sector.

International Women’s Day talk by Joanna Williams

The Working Class Movement Library is welcoming historian and biographer Joanna Williams to celebrate IWD 2022.

She will attend the library to talk about her new book, The great Miss Lydia Becker: suffragist, scientist and trailblazer.

The event is being held in-person and online, with guests attending asked to wear a face covering and be socially distant where possible.

MCR Women Songwriters on IWD

Manchester Women’s Songwriters group was founded by local singer-songwriter, Heidi Dewhurst, and hosts events around the city to promote Manchester-based female performers.

Taking place at The Art of Tea cafe, the International Women’s Day event is taking donations to help celebrate women’s achievements.

It takes place on Tuesday, March 8, from 7pm to 11pm.

International Women’s Day Trafford Business Start-Up Network

Business women in Trafford are invited to take part in this networking event hosted by Women in Business in collaboration with Trafford Council and partners.
