The Trafford Centre has opened two attractions sure to keep everyone entertained over the school summer holidays. The StarWash Roller Disco and the Trafford centre's annual summer fair Summer Daze have both opened for the whole family to enjoy this summer, and we went down to take a look around.

A dazzling disco-themed roller rink has arrived in the Orient at the region's famous shopping centre and will be open from July 19 - August 27. From 11am to 8pm Monday to Saturday and 12pm to 6pm on Sunday, the rink is ready for all thrill seekers looking to have their very own roller rink adventure.

There's a Photo Booth where you can snap a few pictures with disco-themed props, and don't forget to get your requests into the DJ who will be playing feel-good tunes and disco beats all day long.

The immersive experience will have you grooving and shaking on the disco roller dance floor, but don't forget it's one-way only! There's a handrail available for those who feel a little unsteady on their feet, but all ages and experience levels are welcome down to take part in 25-minute-long sessions.

There are relaxed sessions every weekday at 11am with fewer skaters, dimmed lighting and quieter music, for those who prefer a more chilled-out skating experience.

From July 22 - September 3, the Trafford Centre is also hosting its much-anticipated event Summer Daze. This year it has returned complete with a beach, funfair, live music, arts and crafts and two splash parks!

From 12pm to 8pm every day of the week, the outside of the Trafford Centre will be alive with laughter, thrills, and music. This year you'll see the return of favourite rides such as Sea Storm, Crash Test rollercoaster, Don Sapo and of course the classic Tea Cups, as well as a few new additions.

There are over 20 fairground rides to enjoy this year and classic games such as hook a duck if you fancy trying your hand at winning a prize. Don't forget the food stalls filled with lots of yummy food and drink, including ice cream, doughnuts, crepes, burgers and sweets.

Take a look at both attractions in our video report.
