Hans Zimmer at Manchester AO Arena: Full information including door times, timings and set list

Hans Zimmer is coming to Manchester with a performance at the AO Arena on Friday (June 16). The world-renowned film composer will be coming to the city following the huge success of his recent European tour.

Hans Zimmer live will be bringing his orchestra to Manchester as he performs some of his iconic film scores that have given the composer worldwide success. Pieces in the concert will include music from Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Dark Knight and The Lion King.

“I’m thrilled to return to the stage for another tour in Europe and excited to share this phenomenal show that the band and I are preparing for,” said Zimmer. “I’m grateful to be able to play our music that brings together so many people for a truly unforgettable experience.”

What time does Hans Zimmer at AO Arena start?

Doors to the AO Arena will open at 6pm on Friday (June 16) ahead of the performance. Hans Zimmer and his orchestra will take to the stage at 7.30pm.

AO Arena parking

If you are planning on getting to AO Arena by car, CitiPark provides an on-site car park with 958 spaces. During the event, the car park is manned by the events team ensuring parking goes smoothly throughout the night.

If you don’t want to drive in the city centre, there are several Park and Ride facilities that will take you to the arena. The following Park and Ride facilities are free to use with a valid Metrolink ticket and will take you to AO Arena:

• West of Manchester, Ladywell, 250 spaces (Pilgrims Way, Salford, M50 1AW) – 25-minute journey to city centre
• South of Manchester, Hollinwood, 202 spaces (Hudson Street, Failsworth, OL9 7LG) – 20-minute journey time to city centre
• East of Manchester, Ashton Moss, 200 spaces (Alexandria Drive, Ashton, OL6 7UB) – 30-minute journey time to city centre
• South of Manchester, Sale Water Park, 316 spaces (Rifle Road, Sale, M33 2LX) – 25-minute journey time to city centre
