The Hacienda Classical concept first graced the stage in 2016 and since then has been an extremely popular addition to the city’s cultural calendar, with previous concerts at the Castlefield Bowl selling out. Next summer’s gig will see famous musicians and DJs from the time of the Hacienda will be joined by notable American house pioneers.

Here’s what you need to know if you want to get your hands on tickets for the 2023 edition of Hacienda Classical.

When is Hacienda Classical in 2023, where is it and how do I get tickets?

Hacienda Classical is back at the Castlefield Bowl on Saturday 8 July 2023. Tickets go on sale at at 9am on Friday 4 November and you can grab your place at the gig through the Gigs and Tours website here.

All the previous Castlefield events have sold out with the annual Hacienda homecoming turning into a popular annual party for devotees of what was once Manchester’s most famous nightspot.

Hacienda fans can also tune into BBC2 on Saturday (5 November) for the documentary The Hacienda: The Club That Shook Britain, which gets under way at 10.15pm. It tells the incredible story of how a former warehouse in Manchester sparked a cultural revolution and includes rare and unseen archive footage, first-hand testimony from those involved during The Hacienda’s heyday and interviews with some of the key players in the club’s history and famous regulars.

FAC51 The Hacienda, which keeps the club’s memory and cultural legacy alive, has been celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2022 with events including a sold-out show at Depot Mayfield.
