It’s been a long wait, but Green Day are coming back to the UK

Iconic rock outfit Green Day have ended a long wait to announce a 2024 UK and Europe tour. The Californian band are coming to Emirates Old Trafford next month as part of the summer run of shows.

The tour marks two significant moments in Green Day’s history. These are the 20th anniversary since the release of their album ‘Dookie’ and 20 years of ‘American Idiot’. The albums are two which many fans regard as the band’s best.

Green Day have built a reputation of being one of the biggest bands of recent years. Iconic tunes such as ‘American Idiot’ and ‘Jesus of Suburbia’ have made them a household name. They come to Manchester on June 21 2024.

The tour is also not just for the anniversary of these two classic records. ‘The Saviours’ album was released back in January and you can expect plenty of these songs to be played at Old Trafford.
