Runners who fancy giving themselves a bigger challenge can choose to tackle the Great Manchester Half Marathon on the same day.

This is only the second time the run has taken place since 2019, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, and is back properly this year, as Covid restrictions have eased since the last run.

There’s plenty for everyone at the race, with live-music and street food available, creating a great vibe on the day.

As well as the main event for adults, there are also mini and junior races for kids the day before the main events.
