George Ezra is gearing up for his performances at the Iconic Opera House in Manchester as part of his 2022 UK tour.

The singer - who rose to fame with songs such as ‘Shotgun’ and ‘Budapest’ announced a new album ‘Gold Rush Kid’ along with a 2022 tour.

When is George Ezra performing in Manchester?

Ezra will be travelling to Manchester to perform at the Manchester Opera House on Wednesday, April 13 2022.

The Brit award winner is no stranger to performing in Manchester, and has previously performed to a sell-out crowd in 2019 at the AO Arena, with his number one album ‘Staying at Tamara’s’.

Where else is he playing?

Manchester is just the second show on the pop singer’s fairly short tour, with the musician performing to just the capital before going to Manchester.

After Manchester, he will travel to Edinburgh before embarking on a mini-European tour visiting Denmark and France before performing in London once more.

How do I get tickets for his show in Manchester?

Unfortunately, tickets on Ticketmaster are now sold out. Tickets are however on Viagogo, costing £196.

The setlist is not yet available for his tour, and his performance in Manchester.

On April 2, 2022, on the Saturday Night Takeaway show featuring the famous Ant and Dec, Ezra performed his hit new single ‘Anyone For You’, so that may be played.

Any performance post June 10 will likely be treated to Ezra’s new album ‘Gold Rush Kid’ which is to be released on June 10, 2022.

George Ezra is an English guitarist, songwriter and singer.

In 2014, Ezra rose to prominence with his number one single ‘Budapest’ which shot to the top of the charts in multiple countries worldwide.

The 28-year-old went from strength to strength from there, with his debut studio album ‘Wanted on Voyage’ - released in 2014 - went to number one in the UK, and broke into the top 10 in seven other countries.

The album performed well over the year in the UK, and ended 2014 as the third-best selling album in the UK for the year.

It wasn’t until four year later that he released his second studio album, ‘Staying at Tamara’s’ which was released in March 2018.

The album went to number one on the UK charts and was in the top 10 in eight other countries.

A song on the album, ‘Shotgun’ reached number one in the UK, and ended up becoming his first chart-topping single in the UK, Ireland and Australia.

In 2019, Ezra won a Brit-award for the coveted British Male Solo Artist.
