The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe at the Lowry

If you enjoy going to see a show during the festive period then why not step through the wardrobe and into the enchanted kingdom of Narnia as the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is on at the Lowry theatre. Join Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter as they wave goodbye to wartime Britain and embark on a magical adventure in a frozen, faraway land in the classic tale.

Tinsel Town, Trafford Centre

Now that temperatures are dropping and the festive season is right around the corner, the Trafford Centre’s large-scale outdoor event ‘Tinsel Town’ is open to the public.

Make sure you wrap up warm so you can explore a winter wonderland that’s full of rides and festive fun. There is even the chance to glide on down the UK’s longest tobbogan slide. Other attractions include the big wheel as well as a brand-new ice rink.

Winter Funland, Event City

This weekend, Winter Funland are bringing you the UK’s biggest Christmas indoor funfair and circus. Organisers are encouraging everyone to wear their Christmas jumpers and get into the festive spirit without worrying about the weather.

Cantina Space Bar

Also open for business at BEC Arena will be the World Famous Cantina Space Bar where you can grab a Star Wars themed cocktail and pose for photos with some of your favourite characters.

London Concertante. Manchester Cathedral

And finally, If you’re looking for a romantic candlelit experience, want to enjoy some classics from the baroque period or simply fancy something Christmassy - then this concert might just be the one for you as, UK based chamber orchestra London Concertante is performing in concert at Manchester Cathedral this Sunday.
