Parklife is almost here and an expected 82,000 people are expected to descend on Heaton Park in Manchester for a weekend of great music. The event is headlined by The 1975 and Aitch with appearances from Self Esteem, Fred Again.. and The Prodigy.

The event will take place on Saturday, June 10 and Sunday, June 11 with a full line-up of great music expected. The festival is a no camping event, with the gates closing at 11pm on both nights.

Here’s everything you need to know about Parklife in Heaton Park this weekend:

When is Parklife and what time will gates open

Parklife is taking place at Heaton Park in Manchester on Saturday, June 10 and Sunday, June 11. Gates to the festival will open at 11am on Saturday and 12pm on Sunday with the last entry into the festival at 5pm.

Gates will close at 11pm on both days and no re-admittance will be allowed to the festival site if you chose to leave at any point during the day. Four entry points will be available to Heaton Park, including West Gate, located on Bury Old Road, East Gate, on Sheepfoot lane, North Gate by the lake in Heaton Park and VIP entrance, Sheepfoot Lane adjacent to East Gate.

How to get last minute tickets to Parklife

Parklife still has some available tickets left for Sunday’s performances. Tickets can be purchased on the Parklife website for £84.50.

How to travel to Parklife

Parklife have partnered with Transport for Greater Manchester and Manchester City Council to offer a shuttle bus to and from the city centre. The journey will take around 30 minutes and will drop festival goers off right inside the festival site.

The Metrolink strike that was planned for this weekend has been called off, making it much easier for festival-goers to get to Heaton Park. You will need to get off at the Heaton Park station when arriving at the festival, but leave from Bowker Vale station as the Heaton Park stop will be closed from 6:30pm.

Fans wishing to use the buses will need to use the North exit for the departure point. Tickets for the bus cost £5 per day and can be found on the tickets page of the Parklife website. Buying in advance will reduce your queuing time and will be sent to you in electronic form so you will need your phone when looking to board the shuttle bus.

What is the weather forecast for Parklife

The weather for the weekend is set to be warm and sunny across both Saturday and Sunday, although the Met Office have put in place a yellow thunderstorm warning for Saturday.

On Saturday temperatures will reach highs of  26°C with lows reaching 13°C. On Sunday temperatures will reach highs of 25°C with lows of 17°C.
