We have an exclusive look at Saul Hay Gallery’s brand new retrospective exhibition in Manchester, Northern Lights – New Light, a 10-year retrospective.

The new retrospective exhibition Northern Lights – New Light, a 10-year retrospective will be unveiled at Saul Hay Gallery in Manchester from 26 March to 17 April, in collaboration with art charity New Light, celebrating the very best of contemporary Northern art over the past decade.

The exhibition celebrates the artistic development of New Light’s award-winning artists over the last 10 years. All previous winners of the art prize have been invited to contribute, bringing a celebration of Northern art to the gallery for 2022.

The exhibition includes artwork by 25 Northern artists including Nat Quinn, Josie Jenkins, Mandy Payne, Christopher Cook and 2020 winner Joanna Whittle, with a range of art inspired by various themes and hopes to raise awareness of devastating global issues.
