Legendary guitarist Eric Clapton has announced a gig at Manchester’s new Co-op Live Arena. The announcement makes him one of the first musicians to perform at the venue.
Clapton is widely regarded as one of the greatest ever guitarists, selling out shows all over the world. He has also released a staggering 22 studio albums and sold over 280 million albums worldwide.

Hide AdClapton was born in Surrey in 1945 and has over the years performed in many bands as well as creating music as a sole act. Some of these bands include ‘Cream’ and ‘The Yardbirds’.
The gig will take place on May 18 2024. It is part of the Co-op Live’s opening season which also includes a Jonas Brothers gig.
How to buy tickets for Eric Clapton at Co-op Live
Co-op Members will have first access to tickets through an exclusive Co-op pre-sale. This will begin on Thursday September 7 at 10am, you can become a member by visiting the Co-op website.
General sale will begin at 10am on Monday September 11. Tickets will be available for purchase through the Co-op website and each purchase will be limited to a maximum of 6 tickets.
