England Netball are back in Manchester this week as the start of a three match Vitality International series. The Vitality Roses welcome South Africa’s SPAR Proteas to the AO Arena on Tuesday December 5. The match will get underway at 7pm.
The match will be the second the Roses have played in Manchester this year. Around 7,000 fans watched them at the AO Arena take on Jamaica, who finished runners up at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
The match is the opening game in the series, which will be followed by a double header down in Nottingham. It will be the first chance fans will have to watch the Vitality Roses on home soil since the World Cup earlier this year.
South Africa were the hosts of the tournament which took place in the summer. Australia defeated England 61-45 in the final to win their 12th title.
The netball game at the AO Arena is another example of the varied sporting events Manchester plays host to. If you want to try checking out a new sport, then the start of the Vitality International series is a perfect chance.
