Popular Manchester restaurant 20 Stories is offering a dinner with a difference in January as it turns out all the lights for a Blackout evening.

Dining in the dark has been a quirky trend for some time, with some foodies believing it heightens a diner’s focus on the flavours of the food.

20 Stories marketing Manager Becky Wilkes said: “Plunging our restaurant into complete darkness promises to be an unforgettable evening. Since launching the Blackout Dinner, it has been a favourite in our calendar and following a hugely successful sell out event in October, we are really looking forward to hosting what promises to be another incredible evening.”

20 Stories will turn off its lights and tables will be lit only by candlelight and the lights of Manchester outside.

What’s on the menu?

Guests will be welcomed with a bespoke Monkey 47 Gin cocktail.
