The festive season is upon us, and for sports fans this means an abundance of action. The main event going on at the moment is the PDC World Darts Championships at the Alexandra Palace in London.
The tournament sees the best of the best battling it out for the world title. With the tournament well underway, you could be forgiven for looking ahead to your next darting fix- and how it could be much closer to home.

Hide AdIn the spring, eight of the best darts players in the world will come to Manchester’s AO Arena. This will be as part of the Darts Premier League, a weekly tournament which visits arenas across the UK and Europe.
Manchester’s turn to host comes on April 4 and the AO Arena will welcome a range of top players, all of whom will have played some part at the World Championships this year. The tournament has recently changed its format, and 2024 will be only the third year the new formatting will be used.
Each night, the players will take part in four quarter finals, two semi finals and a final. The winner of each night will get five points added to their total on the league table.

Tickets for the darts at the AO Arena in April remain on general sale through Ticketmaster. Tickets start at £33 and VIP packages can also be bought for the event.
