Stockport band Blossoms are coming to Manchester tonight. The band have a homecoming show of sorts at the city’s Castlefield Bowl outdoor venue.
The gig is just the latest in a long line of big gigs to take part at the Bowl this summer. These have all been part of the ‘Sounds of the City’ programme.

Hide AdBlossoms were a hit at Glastonbury festival, with their own set going down a storm. They also played a set with Lancashire’s finest Rick Astley during which the band and Astley played covers of The Smiths songs.
Tonight it is the turn of Blossoms, a band that has shot to fame in recent years. With three studio albums and many big festival appearances to their name, they are still a band well and truly on the up.
