Hide AdWeller will bring his autumn tour to Manchester, with a date pencilled in for November 1. He is set to perform at the O2 Apollo, with dates in Liverpool, Glasgow and London also on the schedule.
Paul Weller burst onto the music scene in the mid 1970s as frontman of the band ‘The Jam’. Their first single ‘In The City’ penetrated the UK top 40. They produced six studio albums through their career.
After The Jam went separate ways, Weller started The Style Council. The band consisted of Weller and Mick Talbot, who was a former member of Dexy’s Midnight Runners.
In the early 1990s, Weller began a solo career which is still going strong. His new album is a timely reminder that he is far from ready to hang up his guitar.
