Liam Gallagher Malta Weekender: Liam Fray, Blossoms and The Lathums to join Oasis icon - how to get tickets

If you want to combine a weekend in Europe with some top days of music, then a new announcement from Liam Gallagher might be for you. The Liam Gallagher and Friends Weekender event will take place on the sunny Mediterranean island of Malta in September. 

From September 19 to 22, Gallagher will take to the stage with a host of other top bands - many of whom are from Greater Manchester. The Oasis icon will play a headline set across the weekend. 

Joining Gallagher in Malta will be Liam Fray with The Courteeners frontman performing a solo set over the weekend. Stockport’s finest Blossoms have also confirmed they will be in attendance. They let fans know they are on the bill through their social media pages. 

Another Greater Manchester influence on the festival weekend will be The Lathums. The boys from Wigan enjoyed a great 2023 with a new album and tour, and they will also be soaking up the sun in Malta. Jamie Webster, Jake Bugg and fast-rising The K's complete the major names announced so far with more to follow.

A dedicated concert area will be set up in Ta'Qali. Each of the two days and nights of music will feature either Liam Gallagher, or an act from his curated line-up.

Tickets are not yet on sale, but you can register for access through the event’s official website. On the site, you can find plenty of information about hotel and ticket packages ahead of the weekend.
