Rock icon Alice Cooper announces Manchester AO Arena date on ‘Too Close for Comfort’ UK tour- ticket details

American singer songwriter Alice Cooper has a career spanning nearly 60 years. Showing no signs of slowing down, he has announced a UK tour- including a stop off in Manchester. 

The evening at the AO Arena will no doubt be a spectacle when Cooper comes to town on October 17. Classics like “Under My Wheels,” “I’m Eighteen,” “Schools Out,” “Poison,” “Billion Dollar Babies,” and “No More Mr Nice Guy” are well known songs that will be drawn from his huge catalogue of rock and roll.

During Cooper’s illustrious career, he has stopped off in Manchester for gigs on more than 20 occasions. The most recent of these was in May 2022 at the AO Arena. 

On announcing the tour, Alice said: “For ‘Road’, I wanted the band to be involved in the foundation of all the songs. I only see these guys when we’re on the road. So, I wanted them to be as tight as they are for the show but on all new material. When you have a band this good, I believe in showing it off, and this is my way of doing so.”

Tickets to see Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Alice Cooper in Manchester go on sale at 10am on Friday February 23. Tickets can be purchased through AEG Presents.
