Akon announces Manchester O2 Apollo gig on 'The Superfan Tour' - date and how to get tickets

Akon is returning to our shores for the first time in a long time.

Senegalese-American singer Akon has announced his first European tour in a decade. The artist, who was born in St Louis, Missouri, is coming to Manchester's O2 Apollo as part of the extensive tour.

Akon has four dates pencilled in for the UK. The Manchester gig will take place on Tuesday April 30 2024.

The Grammy Award winning Akon will likely perfom all of the classics from his decades long career. Fans can expect to hear the likes of 'Right Now (Na Na Na)' to 'Lonely' when he takes to the stage in the spring.

How to get tickets to see Akon at Manchester O2 Apollo

The Manchester stop on Akon's tour is just weeks away. You can get tickets when they go on general sale at 10am on Friday February 9 through the O2 Apollo website, a reminder that children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
