Co-op Live has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons in recent days, with Manchester’s newest venue facing a stack of issues around what was supposed to be its opening week. Dubose began rapping when he was 12, and his influences and idols included 50 Cent and Kanye West, who he listened to regularly. His career got off the ground in 2015 with the release of his first track ‘Temporary’- he was 19 at the time.
In February 2016 he launched his first EP titled ‘Artist’ and it was this that launched him into the spotlight, being named on the Forbes list of up and coming rappers. His debut album ‘The Bigger Artist’ was released in September 2017.
Then 2019 was a big year for Dubose. Having released his second album the year before, he featured on over 20 tracks with a range of artists including Ed Sheeran, Rick Ross and Liam Payne. Album number three, ‘Artist 2.0’ was released in full on Valentine’s Day 2020. His stock continued to rise and in 2022 his fourth album was released to the world.
